Irving Materials, Inc. is a building materials supplier operating throughout the mid-western and the southern U.S. IMI has a rich history that dates back to 1946 year when C.C. Skunk Irving began selling ready mix concrete and stone in Greenfield, Indiana. The post-war construction boom proved to be fertile ground for a building materials supplier in central Indiana. However, Skunk had a vision for growing the company beyond Greenfield. He believed that through hard work and innovation, IMI could become a leader in the building materials industry. Since then, IMI has grown to supply concrete to six states through our four regional operational centers and mines stone, sand and gravel throughout Indiana.
